FUN ART PROJECT USING ALPHABET LETTERS






Use an initial from your name to make an animal.  Fun art project!

WACKY ANIMALS ART PROJECT


Provide colored construction paper, glue and all sorts of add on's  to make wacky animals.

"FIND THE COUNTRY" - GEOGRAPHY FUN

Found a fun container and printed off pictures of famous landmarks we had studied recently.  These were put in the mailbox to be pulled out one at a time and the country found on the map.

BOOKS TO HELP KIDS LEARN ABOUT MONEY


Three awesome books to help kids learn about money:  DO I NEED IT?  OR DO I WANT IT? -- all about making budget choices by Jennifer S. Larson; CASH, CREDIT CARDS OR CHEKS -- a book about payment methods by Nancy Loewen; and MONEY MADNESS -- a basic introduction to economics by David A. Adler.

TABLE GAMES ARE STILL ALIVE AND WELL!

Table games are still alive and well -- and great to use when homeschooling!  As you can see from the picture, often new or nearly-new games can be found at yard sales and thrift stores inexpensively.  Racko teaches sequencing of numbers.  Numerous other card games can be used for addition, subtraction or even spelling.
